At Reid Ross Classical High School, community service is more than a requirement; it’s a reflection of who we are as Cougars. Through service, students build real-world skills, make a positive impact, strengthen our community, and show Cougar pride.
Community Service Hour Requirements
All students must complete community service hours each semester:
9th Grade: 4 hours per semester
10th Grade: 6 hours per semester
11th Grade: 8 hours per semester
12th Grade: 10 hours per semester
Community Service Cord Qualification
Students interested in earning a community service cord must complete 50 total community service hours between May 1 of their junior year (11th grade) and May 1 of their senior year (12th grade).
